Jennifer Gaines Mable
Jennifer Gaines Mable was born and raised in Tullahassee, Oklahoma, to Fletcher and Josephine Gaines. She is the ninth of ten children and grew up in a close-knit family that instilled in her a deep appreciation for community, hard work, and family values.
Jennifer attended Carter G. Woodson Schools in Tullahassee, where she completed her education and graduated in 1980. She fondly remembers her childhood in Tullahassee and cherishes the friendships, experiences, and sense of belonging that shaped her early years.
As an adult, Jennifer became the proud mother of four children: Sharita, Keisha, Jullian, and Jasmine. She dedicated herself to both her family and her career, eventually relocating to Washington, Texas. There, she served as a correctional officer and built a respected career before retiring.
Despite living away from her hometown, Jennifer has never lost her connection to Tullahassee. She returns whenever possible to attend community events and support the town she loves. She is especially proud of the newly formed girls' basketball team and contributes through donations whenever she can. Jennifer also enjoys attending school homecomings and celebrating the rich history and traditions of her hometown.
Her enduring commitment to Tullahassee reflects her pride in her roots and her desire to give back to the community that helped shape her life. Jennifer Gaines Mable remains a dedicated supporter of her hometown and a valued member of the Tullahassee community.
